The dog watch receiver is fitted to an adjustable nylon collar designed for your dog's comfort. The dog watch collar should be positioned above your dog's regular collar. To properly fit the receiver collar you should adjust the nylon collar strap to your dog's neck, while lifting its chin. Once adjusted in this position lower your dog's chin and the receiver collar should be properly fitted. If you cannot spin the collar around the dog's, neck it is too tight and will cause irritation. If the collar spins too freely it's too loose and the dog will not receive the intended correction in the avoidance zone and might escape from the yard. Remember it is very important to remove the collar at the end of the day when your dog is inside.
